Smiths City Purple Visa Card Apply and Spend Terms and Conditions May 2024.

1. The promotion is valid from 8 May until 21 May 2024 (the “Promotional Period”).
2. To receive a $100 Smiths City Gift Card and/or have the $55 establishment fee waived (the “Promotion”), you must either:
   1. Be a new Purple Visa Card customer,
      1. who applied instore at Smiths City, and successfully opened, a Card Account during the Promotional Period;
      2. applied for and completes 34 Months Interest Free on total spend $499 and over instore at Smiths City within the Promotional Period (the “Qualifying Transaction“); and

• not be a new Additional Cardholder.

1. Be an existing Purple Visa Card customer,
   1. Who applied for and completes 34 Months Interest Free on total spend $499 and over instore at Smiths City within the Promotional Period.
2. To be eligible for the promotion, together with clause b above, you need to ensure:
   1. your Card Account is open (and not in arrears or overdue) after the Promotional Period ends, and
   2. the purchase is for personal shoppers only and excludes Trade and Commercial purchases (“Eligible Customer”).
3. Qualifying Transactions excludes standard Purple Visa Card transactions.
4. All new Purple Visa Card applications will be assessed in accordance with SBS Money Limited’s standard approval process. SBS Money Limited is not obliged to accept an application.
5. If you are an Eligible Customer:
   1. All new and existing Purple Visa Card customers will receive the $100 Smiths City Gift Card instore when you complete the Qualifying Transaction:
      1. For the avoidance of doubt:
         1. You will not receive a $100 Smiths City Gift Card for your second Qualifying Transaction (or any subsequent Qualifying Transactions) made by the Main Cardholder or Additional cardholder.
         2. Existing Purple Visa Card customers will not have the $55 establishment fee credited to their account.
      2. All new Purple Visa Card customers will have the $55 establishment fee credited to their Account within 15 business days after the Promotional Period ends.
   2. Your Card Account details must be up to date (including a phone number, email address and postal address). Smiths City will not re-issue or re-send the $100 Smiths City Gift Card if your details are incorrect. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Card Account details are correct.
   3. All decisions of SBS Money Limited and Smiths City are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
   4. SBS Money Limited are the promoters and issuers of the Purple Visa Card and Smiths City are providers of the $100 Smiths City Gift Card. Fulfilment of the Gift Card is also completed by Smiths City. SBS Money Limited accepts no responsibility for the quality of goods and services or suitability provided.
   5. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions and relevant Privacy Statements or Policies.
   6. If for any reason SBS Money Limited and Smiths City are unable to run the Promotion as planned, they reserve the right (in their sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change on www.smithscity.co.nz/purple.
   7. SBS Money Limited, Smiths City and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
   8. Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions but not defined shall have the meaning set out in the Purple Visa Card Terms and Conditions.
   9. To redeem the Smiths City Gift Card simply present it at the time of purchase at any one of Smiths City’s physical stores in New Zealand. The Gift Card is non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and includes GST. Lost or stolen Gift Cards are the responsibility of the holder. The remaining gift card balance can be checked in-store.
